I am a true Gemini & what seems like a series of contradictions is actually a cohesive whole- short, bald, witty, sweet & loyal to a fault. People often think I'm a snob at first but warm up very quickly. I have a creative mind that is on fire at all times, this makes me opinionated & headstrong but I always remain charming, kind & incredibly open-minded & tolerant.

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I always seek strong willed, hard headed women. Intelligent, I prefer them to be smarter than me. Artistic types, with a strong sense of themselves and not intimidated by the unusual. Far-Left politically motivated and sociologically aware.And obviously kind, generous and loyal.

Name some of your all-time favorite music / movies / TV / books.
I'm pretty much a movie nut but prefer old classics, silent films and foreign movies over what comes out of the Hollywood Sausage Factory today. The original King Kong & Philadelphia Story top my list but I loved Pan's Labyrinth as well. I read 1 or 2 books a week so it's hard to boil it down to anything. I like Gore Vidal. Music is the same I grew up, if you can accept that notion, with Classical music and opera but also Rock n' Roll and Jazz. Everything from the Beatles, Yardbirds, Sonny Rollins, Miles Davis, Ramones to Norah Jones, Gilberto, Django Reinhart, Hoagy Carmichael, Bobby Darin, Flaming Lips and Radio Head.

Actually I am currently, as the British say, "between opportunities"

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
I enjoy all the traditional things- walking,gazing at the stars, thinking. I paint and like to write. I enjoy movies the most (please no talking) and enjoy museums, nightlife, concerts and hanging out with friends. I'm pretty simple.

What do you hate doing?
I don't enjoy dancing (I'm really sorry about that) and my idea of "roughing it" is to be without MsNBC, so you can understand that I'm no fan of barbeque's or camping. Picnics are tolerable.

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
Although I am Ukrainian, I was born in France and came to America in the 50's. Lived in Somerville since 1959 except for the 7 years, from the Summer of Love to the mid 70's, when I thrived in the greatest City in the world- New York. But I'm here now unless I am somehow transported elsewhere.

I've had a wild life.

Nothing much, I fear for my grown children as any parent does. I don't find loneliness too fulfilling.

Fire, a diary and a fully charged computer with an internet connection to get me out of there. Forget the diary I can use the computer for that. Hmmm, a friend.

It's OK, nope, do not keep in shape but then I never get sick either.
