I back 30 minute brownies in 20. Other than that I'm just your average over-educated, rhythmically challenged, passionate, eccentric, adventurous, night-owl, idiot savant. Graduated from law school (kinda young) but quickly discovered I detested lawyers (still do) so I (got bored) moved to India, but it was, um India, so I eventually (got bored) returned to SoCal and became a professor 'til I (got bored) realized I wouldn't be happy until I was far, far away from anything even remotely related to law (ie, little wannabe lawyers)... so I jumped ship to finance. That was pretty cool until I (got bored) woke up and realized I was utterly wasting my life. Needed a do-over...so I bagged that to return to Toronto for med school...I was afflicted by the need to actually *do* something, and figured taking care of kids with brain tumors was basically my last best hope for meaning. Note-to-self: noncheesy translation of ALL-of-the-above: "I am now a lowly student, the end." Love what I’m now doing, but still I obviously try to think one step ahead, so I'm already planning the next move: my autobiography, tentatively entitled "I can do pretty much everything but date: Tales of utter ineptitude." I'm private and very relieved nobody will be able to recognize me from this. Am NOTHING like you'd now expect. Not driven... I'd rather sleep in. Career has always been a distant 2nd. A lot more sincere (don’t get bored in relationships!) and (even more!) lame than the bio suggests possible. May be over the top/come on too strong. Write toooo many words. Am an ethical vegetarian who dislikes most vegetables. Better on paper. Addicted to parentheses & ellipsii. I *don't* buy the “you dance like you bake” theory. Oh, and I talk to myself. A lot. Out loud.
