Semi-retired; but working hard; intending to stay in paradise. A private person, I enjoy the privacy of my home; and have been hard pressed to venture far away as I enjoy where I've lived so much, i.e. Heaven is a little closer in a cottage by the sea; which probably makes me a little boring; nevertheless, I have traveled literally everywhere in the world as part of my business background. Just sold my home on Sanibel and moved to Venice, and I love it here; sort of a miniature Naples. For the first time in my life, I live in a place where I can see my neighbors; and its OK. Don't care for TV; but get a kick out of watching movies at home. Politically conservative, my public demeanor is professional. Taste in music is adult contemporary; shy away from the opera and serious music; love live music and need to learn how to dance. Try never to read anything with any redeeming social value; and try to stay focused on developments related to my research.

Have found life is like slices of pie - some dedicated to work, some for family, some for staying healthy, a few for sleeping - And a few slices for spending quality time with a passionate and compassionate, lovely lady who just happens to have a good heart and a giving romantic/love style.

Have been around the water and boating/sailing all my life; especially love clear water and want to voyage part of every year in a year or two; can captain or first mate in the meantime, anytime. Could be talked into skiing again.

Business background - Wharton and a strong entrepreneurial education, some via hard knocks, in commercializing science and knowledge based technologies on a worldwide basis. Some spectacular successes and equally spectacular failure along the road to "enlightenment."

Interests: "Heaven seems a little closer in a cottage by the sea" - running the causeway with a cool wind, any type of boating or sailing; walking the public beach and boating to the secluded beach; a quiet nite at home with candles, wine, dinner and a movie.

Favorites: The Sea - warm clear water places; mountains, water & islands especially when all together; Seafood, especially NE/Nova Scotia style; privacy; running; staying fit; cooking at home; following my kids; and the biophysics of how we heal.

Reading habits: Voracious reader when I can - "junk" favorite authors are Dale Brown, Dan Brown, Dean Koontz, Clive Cussler. Any credible research on bio-physics, the vacuum field; and quantum effects healing technologies. Anything about sailing/trawlering/voyaging.
