I dont have a lot of time to read, but i did like Shogun, Cold mountain, The DaVinci code, Schindlers list and A short history of almost everything (work in progress).

I am a self-employed builder and organic farmer, yes i enjoy my work . I use traditional materials for the building work - hence the hemp - no it's not for smoking, and i get a lot of pleasure from seeing things grow.

Yes, i have a cat called lili, she keeps me company at night, but does her own thing during the day. I also have chickens,ducks and geese, the chickens for the eggs, the geese to keep the grass down around the house, look pretty on the lake and act as guards and the ducks were wild, but now they seem to have adopted me and even tap on the back door for food.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Take your pick - Flew off the top of mount Snowdon in Wales on a hang-glider, competed in offshore ski racing, climbed a radio mast in Russia, did a sponsored naked ski race in december plus many more mad things that i will tell my new partner about one winter's night whilst cuddled in front of a blazing fire sipping a glass of fine wine.
